Job Description:

Description Our client, a family owned company is seeking a Financial Controller. The Financial Controller will have oversight of all accounting functions as well as leading the accounting team.Responsibilities:+ Develop and maintain timely and accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles+ Develop, implement, and ensure compliance with internal financial and accounting policies and procedures+ Prepare all supporting information for the annual audit with the approved external auditor+ Prepare, review and distribute financial statements for multiple companies+ Document and maintain complete and accurate supporting information for all financial transactions+ Maintain and or improve financial account systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control and petty cash+ Review and reconcile bank and investment accounts and manage cash flow+ Prepare, review and disseminate monthly results and implement monthly variance reports (including daily sales performance)+ Review, upload and post payroll journal entries and accruals into proprietary software system+ Post all standard journal entries/general ledger entries for multiple companies on a monthly basis+ Review and prepare account reconciliation for bank card batching, vendor credits and accounts receivable+ Manage and development of accounting and administrative team Requirements Requirements:+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
