Job Description:
COLSA Corporation is seeking candidates for Senior Acquisition
Logisiticians in support of a USAF contract. Position openings may
be available at Wright Patterson AFB, OH; Warner Robins, GA; and/or
Tinker AFB, OK. This position will provide support to the program
in areas such as: Assist with the planning, managing, and
coordinating the total cradle-to-grave life cycle log i stics
support for assigned weapon systems or subsystems, integrating
separate functions of supply, maintenance, pro cu rement, and
quality assurance into log i stics activities required to sustain
the system fielding Perform various tasks related to the planning,
development, implementation and management of a comprehensive,
affordable and effective systems support strategy Provide
assistance to sustainment teams through data analysis, acquisition
management, pro cu rement, and other associated log i stics data of
critical assets, insurance spares, tooling, and related parts and
material. Provide assistance to the development and maintenance of
Post Production Support Plans (PPSP), Post Production Transition
Plans (PPTP), and Transition to Post Production (TPP) and shall d
evelop and exe cu te requirements in phased strategies for PPTP and
TPP. Apply knowledge and experience in acquisition log i stics
philosophy, policies and procedures to Air Force systems,
subsystems, and equipment pro cu rement activities, post award
project/program management tasks, and acquisition programs
throughout their life cycles. Assist in planning, organizing, and
managing critical aspects of the development, production, and/or
deployment of capabilities utilizing DoD, USAF , and local log i
stics policies, procedures, and functionalities, and financial data
requirements of acquisition log i stics disciplines. Coordinate all
log i stics elements including but not limited to spares, S upport
E quipment ( SE ) , training, facilities, technical data, and
provisioning to ensure all integrated log i stics support
requirements for the program are identified and tailored Assists in
developing integrated support requirements for system and equipment
design; developing support requirements that are related to
readiness objectives and design; conducting specialized analyses on
total life cycle cost, log i stics supportability, and warranty;
and providing technical assistance and consultant expertise Assists
in the performance of any related tasks that provide the capability
to evaluate support alternatives, perform trade-off analyses
between support concepts and between support, design, and
operational concepts Develops Life Cycle Cost Management ( LCCM )
and/or Design-To-Cost ( DTC ) program, perform operating and
support cost analyses, and/or develop a probable cost estimate
Identifies military and civilian personnel requirements with the
skills and grades needed to operate and support a weapon system and
equipment over its lifetime at peacetime and wartime rates
Accomplish TDM and analyses, write reports, recommend actions, or
perform any related tasks that provide log i sticians the
capability to acquire, store and manage in a timely, efficient,
cost-affordable manner, the recorded information needed to
translate system and equipment design requirements into discrete
engineering and log i stics considerations, and manage a TO / t
echnical d ata l ibrary Assist in i dentify requirements for flight
manuals resulting from safety issues, aircraft modifications,
different equipment configurations, operational requirements, etc
