Job Description Administrative Coordinator (Construction Industry) Dayton, OH Full Time/Direct-Hire Job Description: The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for coordinating accounts receivables and providing assistance with administrative support functions for the Dayton office. WHAT YOU'LL DO Generate invoices and facilitate the timely collection of cost and profit with customers. Analyze and discuss billing and collection status of current jobs and outstanding receivables with the AR manager to expedite cash receipts and resolve billing discrepancies. Work with customers to proactively troubleshoot and resolve billing discrepancies as quickly as possible. Serve as the first point of contact for customers, vendors, and employees to provide a personal and professional interaction while providing immediate assistance. Provide administrative support to the Project Managers, Superintendents, Estimators, Branch Manager, and field employees as needed. WHO YOU ARE Education : Highschool diploma required; Some college experience preferred Background : Construction experience a plus, but not required Computer Skills : Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Reasoning and Development: Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or/or oral form. Language Development: Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical requirements are those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodations: The physical demands of this position require the ability to communicate orally and in writing, hear at a conversational level, use both hands, distinguish colors and shades. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will frequently (34-66% time on job) be required to sit, use fingers. Occasionally (6-33% time on job) the employee will be required to stand, walk, grip with pressure, and twist or bend wrists. Infrequently (2-5% time on job) the employee may be required to climb up to 5 flights of stairs, carry 10 lbs. up to 10 ft., and keep wrists and feet in prolonged positions of flexion or extension.
