--- Provide editorial research and interview services to provide content development writing and editing support as necessary to develop original informational content for dissemination for a variety of platforms including printed articles, press releases, digital newsletter, websites, social media and marketing material. * Review raw document drafts and revise as necessary to meet style, format, quality and strategic messaging requirements. * Develop, review, revise, and track creative outreach products, campaigns and projects. * Interpret provided USAF level content (both technical and non-technical), and be skilled in restructuring content into the appropriate written form understandable at required levels within the enterprise. Requirements --- Bachelor's Degree with 6 years applicable DOD experience. * Exhibit a solid understanding of Associated Press style of writing, considerable experience interviewing people and writing engaging news stories. Exhibit the ability to simplify complex information into understandable written content. * Exhibit knowledge and skill in applying advanced principles in writing and editing pertaining to assigned tasks. * Demonstrate a working knowledge with readily available sources of information on the appropriate subjects including library resources and subject-matter experts, and knowledge of publication standards in working with unclassified processing. Knowledge and working level experience with letterheads, and writing style formats (e.g., Air Force Handbook (AFH) AFH 33-337, The Tongue and Quill). * Display knowledge of OSD, Joint Agencies, Services and USAF grammar, writing, editing practices, and style requirements. * Demonstrate experience in the ability to acquire and present technical information through independent research analysis, interviews with subject-matter specialists, or other appropriate methods as required. * Exhibit the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, to gain cooperation from others through tact, courtesy, and diplomacy; and ability to maintain good working relationships. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. Possessing an active Secret Clearance is preferred. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
