Overview: As a Commercial HVAC Estimator, you will play a crucial
role in our company's success by accurately estimating the costs
associated with HVAC projects. Your keen attention to detail and
ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders will
ensure our projects are both competitive and profitable. Key
Responsibilities: - Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates
for commercial HVAC projects, including labor, materials, and
equipment. - Review project plans, specifications, and other
documents to successfully assess project requirements. -
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and project management teams
to ensure estimates are aligned with project goals and client
needs. - Analyze vendor proposals and negotiate with suppliers to
obtain the best pricing for materials and subcontractor services. -
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients,
contractors, and suppliers to facilitate successful project
outcomes. - Keep abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and
relevant regulations to make informed estimating decisions. -
Participate in bid review meetings and provide input on pricing
strategies. - Maintain accurate and organized records of estimated
values and project specifications. Qualifications: - Proven
experience as an HVAC Estimator, with a focus on commercial
projects. - Strong understanding of HVAC systems and components. -
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with keen attention to
detail. - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and
construction documents. - Strong communication and negotiation
skills. - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
