us apart. Summary The Vice President of Construction will lead the
strategy, execution, and delivery of large-scale, mission-critical
data center projects across a diverse client portfolio. This
executive will be accountable for driving operational excellence,
ensuring quality, safety, and compliance, and fostering strong
relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders while
building a high-performance culture within the organization.
Responsibilities Define and execute the long-term vision and
strategy for the Data Center Construction division in alignment
with corporate growth and client needs. Provide executive-level
direction for greenfield, brownfield, and fit-out projects from due
diligence through commissioning, ensuring accountability for scope,
schedule, quality, and budget. Standardize processes, implement
best practices, and establish KPIs to drive consistency and
efficiency across all projects. Mentor and develop project
directors, managers, and construction teams while cultivating a
culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous
improvement. Oversee budgets, forecasts, capital expenditures,
contracts, and vendor agreements; ensure financial discipline
across all project portfolios. Identify risks and develop proactive
mitigation strategies to safeguard project deliverables and client
expectations. Champion innovative delivery models, design-build
practices, and emerging construction technologies to optimize cost,
quality, and speed. Build and sustain strong relationships with
clients, developers, contractors, engineers, local authorities, and
other key partners. Deliver executive-level reporting and project
updates to senior leadership and clients with clarity and
transparency. Recruit, retain, and grow top construction and
project management talent, while promoting diversity, equity,
inclusion, and safety across all operations. Ensure lessons learned
are captured and placed in the feedback loop to drive continuous
improvement across the organization Encourage and foster a
team-oriented environment through positive feedback and recognition
of strong performance. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in
Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field. 15
years of progressive construction management experience, including
8 years in hyperscale data center projects. Proven leadership in
Owner’s Representation environments; General Contracting experience
preferred. Expertise in large-scale project delivery and client
relationship management. Strong understanding of safety standards,
building codes, and regulatory compliance. Experience with
alternative delivery methods (design-build, EPC, CM-at-Risk).
Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Ability to travel to project sites. Knowledge, Skills, and
Competencies Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and
Bluebeam. Strong financial and contractual acumen with operational
excellence focus. Skilled in risk management, problem-solving, and
process improvement. Highly driven, adaptable, and capable of
thriving in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments. Excellent
interpersonal skills; able to build trust and credibility at all
levels. Energetic self-starter with a “whatever it takes” mindset.
