Manage routes and schedules efficiently to optimize delivery times and fuel usage. Conduct vehicle inspections before and after trips, maintaining accurate records of vehicle performance and cargo details. Communicate effectively with logistics managers to report any issues or delays and to receive instructions or updates. Participate in ongoing training and safety programs to enhance job performance and knowledge of industry regulations. Strong driving skills and familiarity with DOT regulations. Effective communication and organizational abilities. Ability to manage time effectively and make sound decisions under pressure. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair. Proficiency in using GPS and other routing systems. Capability to adapt to changing schedules and unexpected delays.
