Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for an Air Vehicle
Quality Engineer supporting the AFLCMC/OZJ Light Attack Aircraft
(LAA) acquisition program.

Duties include, but not limited to:
Review and evaluate quality data and performance reports of
assigned systems/subsystem(s) for schedule and risk compliance to
Participate in Government/prime/subcontractor
reviews/meetings/working groups as applicable and on Government and
industry teams for the resolution of complex quality issues.
Analyze weapon system prime/subcontractor strategies, plans, and
activities to identify opportunities for improvement. Assist in the
identification and analysis of major cost/risk trade-offs and
life-cycle cost considerations.
Have broad manufacturing & quality experience and knowledge of
quality techniques and principles along with the ability to apply
these tools to the LAA-IWS manufacturing process.
Have an understanding of quality engineering, variation reduction,
six sigma, statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments
(DOE), and root cause corrective action (RCCA), PFMECA, and
Perform quality engineering functions to include:Interpret
manufacturer quality metrics data and communicate appropriate
Assess the manufacturer quality assurance (QA) planning and
Follow RCCA reporting and resolution activities
Participate in Quality Management System (QMS) audits and document
Configuration Management (CM) support related to quality and change
Provide input into contractual requirements for data items and
review delivered data related to manufacturing quality.
Prepare and submit OEM manufacturing quality performance
assessments and perform other quality engineering activities as
Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree (ABET-accredited;)
Active Secret Clearance
AS9100 certified auditor with 5-15 years' experience.
Capable of working on high-visibility or mission-critical aspects
of a given program and shall be able to independently perform the
most complicated and technical support tasks relevant to all tasks
in PWS that relate to functional discipline.
