NDC is currently seeking an Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will primarily provide expertise, and document both existing and new products. The Electrical Engineer working with various departments develops new designs, modifies existing products to meet specific NPD product requirements, provides electrical engineering support for procurement, along with supporting manufacturing engineering regarding assembly and production, including methods of improvements, and documenting updates.--Desired Skills

• Minimum 10 years designing electro-mechanical equipment
• Experience in working with electronics vendors
• Test bench experience and electronics troubleshooting
• Experience with designing electronics and some knowledge of optics and optics properties
• Familiarity with tools such as PADS Logic, PADS Layout, Altium Software, and other CAD design software
• Ability to work successfully with peers, sales, and service personnel
• Experienced in Industrial Qualification Processes such as CE, UL, RoHS, and safety regulations
• Good communication skills both written and oral with the ability to communicate at the employee and manager levels
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as work independently
  Functions of the Job
  
  • Supports Production, including assembly, documentation and trouble shooting
  • Supports Project Management regarding technical requests and feasibility
  • Supports the sales order processing via new electrical and electronic documentation, including component specification, electronic circuit design, schematics, cable drawings, wire harness drawings and assembly drawings
  • Processes electrical documentation changes (Engineering Change Requests/Engineering Change Orders)
  • Develops new designs and techniques for product improvements
  • Comfortable in factory (customer environments working on NDC products
  • Ability to travel as necessary (1-2 week trips, up to 15% of the time)
  • All other duties as assigned
    Desired Education
    Bachelor---s Degree (4 Year) in Electrical Engineering
