Job Description:
The Regulatory Compliance Engineer will assist the organization
to ensure a proactive compliance strategy to various regulatory and
licensing standards. This position could be focused on Compressors,
Electronics, or Laboratory and Testing certifications.The position
is for an independent thinker that is willing to challenge the
status quo. The candidate requires a high degree of organization
and a willingness to speak up. They will coordinate regulatory
compliance efforts for Compressors, electronics or labs globally.As
a Engineer - Regulatory Compliance, You Will:--- Develops systems
to manage all relevant product safety standards, recognitions,
listings, and certifications for the products being supported.---
Partners with the various regulatory bodies to ensure compliance
with all various standards to support our customers needs.---
Creates informational/educational documents to support the various
engineering groups in their efforts to support regulatory
compliance.Develops new and innovative processes to manage
standards and certifications.--- Complete and track Regulatory
submittals.REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:5-7 years of
experience in a technical role.Four-year technical degree and seven
years of related experience, or equivalent education and
experience.Knowledge and experience with HVAC&R technology,
particularly compressors, motors, and associated electronicsWorking
knowledge of relevant component standards and end item standards
for HVAC&R equipmentStrong analytical and problem-solving
skillsStrong project management skills and the ability to work in a
large, global corporate structure.Ability to work with both
internal and external technical teams and with both collocated and
non-collocated teamsTeam-oriented individual with excellent
presentation skills.Self-starter who can initiate action and follow
through with well-defined solutions and action plans.Exceptional
interpersonal skills and excel at developing strong collaborative
relationships.Willingness to travel both domestically and
internationally to support project needs.Ability to support
periodic travel as needed.Legal Authorization to work in the United
States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.PREFERRED
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:Engineering degree or equivalent
plus 7-12 years of related experienceMaster's degree in Mechanical
EngineeringKnowledge and experience with structured problem-solving
methodologiesFlexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core
Hours:This role has the flexibility of a remote work option up to
three days a week and a core hour schedule. You can choose to flex
your start and stop times given you are working during the core
hours of 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Our teams work together to ensure our
