If you are an ENGINEERING professional looking for an

Based in our Sidney, OH location, you will support automation and
controls systems for new processes, capacity expansion programs,
process improvements, and plant operations. In addition, you will
also be required to design and program controls systems for new and
existing equipment.AS AN AUTOMATION/CONTROLS ENGINEER, YOU
WILL:Interact closely with cross-functional teams to develop,
design, program, and debug new/existing equipment and
automated/robotic solutions to optimize performance.Collaborate
with Emerson engineers to ensure controls/automation/programming
designs align with Emerson standards.Work with outside integrators
and machine builders to confirm new equipment meets design
requirements and performs as expected.Interface with Emerson
manufacturing facilities to gain an understanding of their needs
and how best to meet them.Develop documentation for use by
operators and maintenance technicians to perform their duties and
assist them in troubleshooting.Travel up to 40%.Ensure all
production-related equipment meets all safety requirements in
accordance with applicable industry standards.WHO YOU ARE:You scan

Work Option and Core HoursThis role has the flexibility of a remote
work option up to three days a week and a core hour schedule. You
can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working
during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm. Our teams work together
to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and
productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.Required
Education, Experience, & Skills:Bachelor of Science degree in
Computer Science, Computer, Electrical, or Industrial
Engineering/Engineering Technology or equivalent; associate's
degree with equivalent work experience would also be
considered.Minimum of two (2) years of related experienceExperience
in PLC/HMI programming (Rockwell Preferred but not required)Written
and verbal communication skillsExperience reading and
troubleshooting machine electrical drawingsMotivated self-starter
and team player, capable of working closely with Management,
Product Engineering, peers, equipment suppliers, and plant
personnelExperience and working knowledge of PC applications and
Microsoft Office productsPreferred Education, Experience, &
Skills:Five (5) years of related experienceExperience in industrial
robotics (6-Axis, SCARA, or delta style robots)Understanding of
industrial networking systems including Ethernet/IP and PLC
communicationsExperience with vision verification systemsProficient
with AutoCAD and/or similar softwareGood organizational, project
management, and presentation skillsExperience with SQL databases
and reportingExperience in Lean Manufacturing fundamentalsCapital
equipment procurement experience, including specification,
