As a member of the Quanexus team, we are looking for a creative problem-solver who wants to make a difference and be part of a driven team. This position is hybrid, potentially working with a client 2-3 days onsite and the rest from home or our office in Dayton. Our team members are motivated by the challenge of an ever-changing professional landscape and wake up each morning excited to learn something new!Important Attributes for a Quanexus Support Engineer II:
    • Keen ability to troubleshoot IT issues and dedication to follow an issue all the way to its resolution
    • Excellent written and verbal communication with team members and partners
    • A willingness and commitment to learn new things and grow new skill sets
    • Ability to fulfill on-call needs (after hours or weekends, as needed)
    • Ability to travel by company car, as needed, to clients within a 50-mile radius of Dayton, OHAnd of course, your technical skills! This should include:
      • Strong understanding of hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
      • Strong understanding of DHCP and DNS configuration and management
      • General understanding of supporting Cisco and FortiGate firewalls
        • Cisco routers and switches
        • Strong understanding in network hardware and troubleshooting
        • Strong understanding for performing:
          • Active Directory and Exchange user and group maintenance tasks
          • Virtual Environment Management of Exchange 2010-2019/O365, SQL server management and understanding of various Microsoft Server products (Hyper-V, VMWare, Remote Desktop Services, etc.)As a Quanexus Support Engineer II, we're counting on you to:
            • Accept inbound support emails and calls; gathering basic information about the issue, call back number, hostname, IP, and timeline of problem.
            • Provide basic troubleshooting, administration and maintenance of OS/Workstation, network issues, remote monitoring software.
            • Build and repair hardware (desktops, laptops, servers, and printers).
            • Monitor backups and respond to alerts.
            • Setup network printers, new users, reset passwords, mobile phone support.
            • Document all service order information into the CRM or other applicable applications.
            • Focus on providing exemplary customer service.
            • Take ownership and be accountable for solving service support tickets.
