Job Responsibilities:

• Lead R&D efforts on data exploitation and validation from OTH -sensor(s)
• Improve automated signal processing, improve other existing algorithms and tools, and develop new techniques for automated detection and tracking
• Investigate methods of deriving target performance metrics and detection features data
• Improve image processing techniques and investigate, develop, and implement methods for characterizing targets based upon observable features and derived metrics
• Investigate state-of-the-art machine learning classification methods to classify elements
• Work with Government Leadership, In-Depth Analytical and R&D teams to articulate ops needs to ensure the result meets the needs
• Be able to effectively write and brief intelligence findings of a technical nature
• Enhance existing data projects in the application of remote sensing technology to solve intelligence issues
• Perform in-depth processing and exploitation of data and dissemination of phenomenology reports to support customer requirements
• Support the resolution of highly complex, technical problems and provide advice and recommendations.Qualifications:
  • Master's degree (or higher) in Engineering, Physics, or other related technical discipline (preferred).
  • Proficient with engineering codes to include Matlab, Python, and/or IDL.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI Clearance (will consider Secret Collateral on case-by-case basis).
  • Prefer 10+ years of engineering/scientific application experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of remote sensing principals and applications.This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartment Information (TS/SCI).
