• Parental Leave Job Summary: Work as a liaison between the program engineering and production departments to create, document, develop, and implement procedures required to assemble, test, process, and manufacture aluminum extrusions.
  
  Required Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology from an accredited college
  • Previous experience in engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Must be able to communicate effectively both written and verbal
  • Must be able to perform and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Job Responsibilities:
    • Developing, evaluating, improve, and document manufacturing process.
    • Developing and implementing process techniques and procedures into manufacturing environments.
    • Analyzing manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancements of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
    • Confer with suppliers in determining product specifications and arranging equipment, parts, or material purchase, and evaluating products according to quality standards and specifications.
    • Estimating staffing requirements, production times, and relative cost to provide data for operational decisions.
    • Working closely with manufacturing department to develop, coordinate, and implement technical training for employees
    • Designing and developing manufacturing processes for enhancements, product changes, and new products, and related fixtures and tooling that are consistent with zero defect level and low product cost.
    • Provide engineering support in production departments to trouble shoot and resolve technical problems.
