Nesco has partnered with a vehicle company in Grove City seeking Assemblers to join their team! Mechanic- Grove City, OH Shift -Monday-Thursday-5am-3:30pm OT as needed Primary Responsibilities: Oversee the receipt and inspection of dealer-supplied chassis. Manage key assignment, vehicle identification, and all chassis control-related tasks. Coordinate activities related to chassis modifications and suspension programs, including Monroe and Liquid Spring systems. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate suspension system programs (Liquid Spring and Monroe). Support and assist with chassis modifications, working closely with the Mounting Supervisor. Assist in administering the company's welding certification program, including conducting tests as needed. Maintain effective working relationships across departments and teams. Perform additional duties as assigned or requested. Oversee key management and vehicle assignment processes. Work independently with minimal supervision. Qualifications and Skills: Valid Ohio driver's license required. Basic proficiency in the use of pneumatic and power tools. Familiarity with safe tool operation, including drills, screw guns, sanders, and jigsaws. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Skilled in setting work priorities and managing tasks independently. Must be able to understand and follow written and verbal instructions in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Education and Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. High school diploma or GED preferred. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, and reach regularly during work hours. Frequent use of hands for handling tools and equipment. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Must be comfortable working with arms raised overhead. Work Environment: Temperature range on the production floor: 40°F to 100°F, with high humidity possible.
