Job Description:
HiTek Manufacturing, Inc., a leader in advanced manufacturing
processes for the aerospace and turbine engine sectors, is seeking
an experienced Application Engineer-CNC Programmer to join our
engineering team. This role is pivotal in maintaining the high
standards of precision component production for which HiTek is
known. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing
and modifying CNC programs, collaborating with our engineering team
to enhance production efficiency, and ensuring product quality
meets the stringent standards of our clients. Develop, analyze, and
optimize CNC programs for machining operations. Collaborate with
production and engineering staff to identify and resolve
manufacturing and engineering issues. Design tools, select optimal
cutting tools and develop setup sheets. Perform quality assurance
tests to ensure products meet precision standards. Train machine
operators on new CNC technologies and procedures. Maintain
documentation thoroughly and consistently as per industry
standards. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to
enhance production efficiency while reducing costs. Advanced
proficiency with CNC programming languages (such as G-code or
M-code). Experience with CAD/CAM software (e.g., AutoCAD,
SolidWorks). Strong understanding of metallurgy and material
processing. Ability to interpret complex blueprints and technical
drawings. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
