Job Description Job Description Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic Job Description As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an integral part of the Paint Department, responsible for executing a balanced mix of preventative and reactive maintenance on various machinery including conveyors, filling machines, mixing machines, and labeling machines. The role primarily involves mechanical repairs, with a smaller portion dedicated to electrical repairs. Responsibilities Perform preventative maintenance and reactive repairs on machinery. Focus on mechanical repairs with a minor component of electrical repairs (15%). Work with conveyors, filling machines, mixing machines, and labeling machines. Utilize software to track preventative maintenance tasks. Essential Skills 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician. 2 years troubleshooting and repairing gear boxes. 2 years troubleshooting and repairing proximity switches. 2 years repairing conveyors and performing chain replacements. 2 years troubleshooting and repairing pneumatic systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications 1 year of welding experience is a plus. 1 year of hydraulic troubleshooting and repair is a plus. 1 year of 480v troubleshooting and repair is a plus.
