Job Description Job Description LHH is recruiting a Production
Scheduler for a Direct Hire, full-time role with a manufacturing
organization located near Newcastle, Indiana. This position offers
the chance to join a highly capable team within an established
company that has maintained steady growth and continued business
expansion. In this role, you will manage raw material coordination
and develop efficient production schedules to ensure customer
requirements are consistently met. Compensation is based on
experience and ranges from $82,000-$87,000 annually, along with
comprehensive medical benefits, Paid Time Off, and a 401(k) plan
with company match. Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S.
without employer sponsorship. RESPONSIBILITIES Evaluate upcoming
planning needs using recent order trends, projected demand, and
current inventory levels Verify accurate inventory counts for raw
materials and packaging before incorporating items into the
production plan Support the Production Manager by participating in
shift planning meetings with team members Review new sales orders
and work with operations to ensure schedules remain precise and
aligned with customer lead times Create and maintain accurate
inventory management reports Communicate with customers regarding
demand forecasts, product availability, lead times, and related
inquiries Partner with the purchasing department on purchase orders
and assist in coordinating logistics for incoming components and
raw materials Track daily material movement, support inventory
control, and help remove obsolete, damaged, or discontinued items
Apply continuous improvement practices (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) to
enhance workflow and efficiency QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in
Business, Operations, Supply Chain Management, or a related area
preferred At least three years of experience in production planning
or scheduling within a manufacturing environment required Strong
technical abilities with hands-on experience building and adjusting
production schedules through an ERP system Preference for
candidates with background in industrial manufacturing environments
with multiple production lines Six Sigma certification or APICS
credentials are a plus, though not mandatory Familiarity with value
stream mapping, cost drivers, and cost structure components is
beneficial Must be self-driven, detail-oriented, and committed to
achieving results Strong problem-solving capabilities and excellent
communication skills required Must be authorized to work in the
