ALPLA, a global leader in innovative and sustainable plastic packaging solutions, is currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of our manufacturing processes, focusing on maintaining and enhancing advanced production equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical maintenance within a manufacturing setting, and a strong commitment to safety and sustainability in line with our corporate goals. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on machines and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment. Document and update maintenance records. Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize machine functionality and reduce downtime. Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions. Support the implementation of new production lines and equipment. Strong proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems. Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and automation. Excellent problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
