Title: Business Manager, F-15

Job Location: Wright Patterson, AFB - Ohio

Odyssey Systems has an exciting new opportunity for a Business Manager, supporting the F-15 Program based out of our Dayton, Ohio office. Duties include contact and interaction with customers, both government and prime contractors, employees and management personnel, and finance regarding the execution and monitoring of all contracts and subcontracts, monitoring and tracking funding allocation and execution levels, maintaining electronic and hard copy files.

Job Responsibilities:
Duties include, but not limited to:

Analyze and track project resource expenditures, including man-hours, subcontracts, and travel.
Visualize trends, ensure costs continually meet expectations, generate appropriate notifications, identify potential problem areas, and initiate corrective actions before cost, funding, performance issues materialize, informing corporate and the customer.
Manage the cost baseline and provide accountability for all funds and man-hour reporting.
Create and maintain Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverable requirements, documentation for operational funds, including status reports, invoices, and certificates of service.
Managed the day-to-day timesheet process and verify for accuracy and completeness to ensure proper charging against contracts, training, and overhead, and manage the leave process.
Coordinate travel authorization process to maintain compliance with contract requirements.
Review invoices and documents to and from contractors, government agencies and subcontractors to ensure correctness and completeness of information.
Receive, review and research requests for de-obligation and/or close-out from government agencies, prime contractors, and DCMA.
Coordinate with corporate for approval or signature.
Supports all requests for information and proposal activities to include capture planning, team identification, proposal development, and EN responses.
Duties include Office Manager and backup the Director and Deputy during absence or time off.
Coordinate with management in gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and preparing recommendations to project future requirements and operating forecasts.
Enthusiastic, creative and able to adapt to challenges and changing environments.
Able to prioritize heavy workloads and excel under pressure as a part of a dynamic geographically dispersed team.

Functional Responsibilities:

Applies management analysis processes, statistical methods, and advanced technical and analytical research techniques to determine solutions.
Determines client needs, mission requirements and operational activities to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making, project planning, risk mitigation, and resource allocation.
Employs process improvements, methodologies, and principles for functional and organizational processes and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Active Secret Clearance
Bachelor's degree with 10 years of experience


Proficient in Microsoft Excel


Must be skilled in program control, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, cost estimating, variance analysis, analytical, planning, organizing, and communication.


Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel techniques to provide other operational, pricing, cost or financial analysis as required.


Ability to adhere to all schedule timelines, milestones, delivery schedules and administrative requirements that contribute to or affect schedule variance, to include scheduled on-time delivery of reports, data products, billing invoices, staffing of personnel, and action items
