Location: Dayton, OHClearance Required: SecretPCI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Configuration Manager to support the MROi (Maintenance Repair and Overhaul Initiative) Program at Wright-Patterson AFB in Dayton, OH.Responsibilities:Provide CM of all relevant program artifactsArchive acquisition documentationReview and analyze the Development/Sustainment Contractor's CM program and data deliveries for accuracy, completeness, and complianceMaintain CM files including configuration identification, change control, and status accounting recordsImplement CM plansRecord Configuration Control Board (CCB) approved changesParticipate in cross-functional change control boards to evaluate proposed changesReview and analyze proposed changes to ensure operational and sustainment capabilities are not adversely affected by the changesPrepare for, conduct, and/or support major audits such as Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) and Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs)Record and maintain assessment and audit findings, minutes, and action itemsReport the Development/Sustainment Contractor's data delivery statusSupport pre- and post-contract award data reviewsReview and analyze of the Development/Sustainment Contractor's conformance to CORL requirementsProcess Government and Development/Sustainment Contractor correspondenceSupport the establishment of work flowsTrack data item deliverables and responsesSupport development/sustainment of paper and automated archival systems of all covered documentation.Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, draftsmen and design/manufacturing engineers in an integrated product team environmentDevelop and administer configuration management plansMaintain design traceability and integrityConvene and manage change boardsAssist the Government with configuration control for ERP and IT systems. This shall include configuration planning, data analysis, maintenance of configuration documentation and data, and maintaining inventory/configuration statusManaging configurations of software, engineering documents, design drawings, engineering changes and notices, and planning/conducting design audits. The contractor must have skills and experience necessary to work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers, and design engineers in an integrated product team environment.Supports the review boards via meeting attendance and capturing meeting minutes including the Configuration Control BoardTrack Change Requests (CRs) and Discrepancy Reports (DRs) / Problem Reports (PRs)Ensures integrity of the baseline including major releases, minor releases, patches, and software maintenanceProvides QA checks on system baselinesSupports Licensing tasks and packaging and delivering of software to usersMaintains the CM library and software repository.Managing and controlling product baselinesRecommending and documenting comprehensive configuration management plans for software, hardware, firmware, and peripherals for IT systemsAnalyzing data and preparing plans and briefings in support of software-driven systemsPerforming studies and monitoring effectiveness of configuration management plans to identify potential and existing problems and make recommendations for resolutionAuditing and reviewing IT system configurationsControlling the configuration of IT systemsQualifications:Advanced Degree (MA/MS) in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 12 years of experience, or;BA/BS Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other Engineering Discipline and 15 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, or;20 years of directly related experience with proper certificationsIT Configuration Management experience within the Department of Defense environmentExperience performing HW and SW configuration auditsExperience performing the technical administrative activities necessary to manage CM tools for inventory control, version control, data duplication, media labeling.Experience producing release notes and CM reportsAn in-depth understanding of the configuration change control process, the role of the Change Control Board, and change control documentationExperience performing baseline administrative activities for multiple environmentsExperience developing briefings for managementUnderstanding of all phases of the software development life cycleAbility to enter and manipulate data in a databaseFamiliarity with ISMT - Highly DesirableFamiliarity with Atlassian Tools Jira and Confluence - Highly DesirableFamiliarity with DoDI 5000.75 and/or 5000.02 for AcquisitionFamiliarity with DoD and DISA Infrastructure RequirementsCertified SCRUM Master - Highly DesirableWorking knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology - Highly DesirableCurrent or ability to obtain Secret clearanceHighly proficient with computers and software applications to include Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), expert attention-to-detail & highly organizedStrong verbal and written communication skills required
