Job Description:

An Engineering Program Manager job in Dayton, OH is available through Modis Engineering. You will help support Company's internal Program Manager. Currently responsible for two programs within the Company and is the overall Engineering Manager. Two programs: You will handle some of the basic Program Manager responsibilities within Budgeting and Scheduling, like taking over the "Line Base Meeting" which is a production meeting for Engineering and gauging timelines. You will also run through the schedule of the program / motive schedule, work with Company Engineering team to manage costs and QMI updates, completing scheduling and costs. This is a 12 month, first shift, onsite contract opportunity, with a possible additional year contract extension. The salary is between $47.00 and $60.00 per hour, highly dependent on experience.
Engineering Program Manager job responsibilities include:--- Keeping team / project on schedule --- Converse and understand Engineers day-to-day and partner together on project completion timelines.
QUALIFICATIONS:--- Associates degree in related field. Engineering, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing. Bachelor's Degree preferred.--- Five plus years program management in an engineering environment, preferred in Aviation, but Automotive is acceptable. Electrical experience required.--- Technical background in Engineering. Need electrical engineering background---power electronics would be even better.--- Must be able to hit the ground running and take over program in two to four weeks after starting.--- Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel) MATLAB, Simulink, some CAD program. Prefer proficiency in Microsoft Project Scheduler, but will accept other types of scheduling programs.
