Job Summary

The Director of Marketing is responsible for the development of the M&CS divisional growth strategy. This includes analyzing market trends, identifying target markets and developing growth plans for the applications that show the greatest potential. The Director of Marketing supervises the Product Management team as they develop and execute growth plans for their product lines. The Director of Marketing also oversees the marketing communications strategy including brand management, internal and external communications. As a member of the divisional leadership team, the Director of Marketing helps oversee the implementation of the Ascend Strategy and NBS Next growth framework.

Essential Functions:

1. Collaborates with the General Manager to create a shared strategic vision for the division

2. Works cross-functionally with division leaders in engineering, operations and sales to develop, implement and drive the product strategy

3. Oversees marketing strategies and efforts in order to strengthen company's market position and achieve desired business goals

4. Responsible for brand management and company image in our served markets

5. Partners with leaders to drive enhanced customer outcomes and improved financial performance in line with the M&CS strategy

6. Establishes a consistent culture that is results-oriented and customer-centric

Education / Experience Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree, plus minimum 15 years' experience of relevant business experience.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to look at a computer screen, reports and other documents. The employee is regularly required to use their hands on a computer keyboard or a calculator. The employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and interact with other employees. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to travel by car and airline. Work Environment:

The work environment is a typical office setting with occasional time spent in manufacturing environments at our own and customer facilities.

The noise level in the work environment can range from moderate to loud.
