Description:Dayton Precision Aerospace is expanding our presence in the aerospace and precision manufacturing industry. As a result, our team needs an experienced Project Manager/Sales Engineer with strong knowledge of AS9100 QMS and precision machining. In this important role you will contact customers to gather information, estimate projects, prepare quotes, and manage awarded business through the manufacturing process to ensure that customer requirements are met. Requirements:-- Experience estimating precision machined parts and creating/writing job routers-- Ability to develop quotes by partnering with existing suppliers and researching alternatives-- Skill with communicating across diverse teams of customers and colleagues at all levels.-- Familiarity with AS9100 QMSSUMMARY: Responsible for Customer development, ongoing service of existing customers, quoting, order entry, and project management, with cradle to grave responsibility.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Acquire new customers, making initial and follow up visits, including quoting and sales presentations. Maintain existing customers, interfacing with purchasing, engineering and quality.Provide customer service.Responsible for pricing and adjustments.Effectively communicate with all levels of employees and outside personnel.Follow Work Instructions, procedures, and company policies.Other duties as required. PM21 Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES: Previous sales experience.Direct sales experience with emphasis on major accounts and knowledge of local area.Able to read blueprints and general knowledge of Tooling and machining.Strong communication sills - verbal, written, and formal and group presentations.Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, employees, and the general public.Able to read, write, and comprehend written and oral instructions.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to maneuver production facility and customer locations.Ability to operate a variety of office equipment including computer, copier, and fax.
