**Description**LinQuest is seeking a Configuration Manager to
join our team in Beavercreek, OH. US Citizenship and a Secret
clearance are required.Are you an experienced Configuration Manager
with a strong Agile background, communication skills, a technical
background and experience in Air Force flight operations? Are you

seeking a Configuration Manager for our Beavercreek, OH,
location.The successful candidate will be responsible for the
overall configuration management, development and implementation of
the configuration management plan. You will work closely with a
skilled team of developers, engineers and product owners to ensure
the execution of all aspects of the CM process. This includes
operating the defined and agreed process, ensuring it interfaces
with all other relevant processes, reviewing the effectiveness and
efficiency, performing process audits, and managing the process
improvement cycle. We are looking for a highly motivated individual

environment.**Responsibilities:**+ Managing the day-to-day
activities of the process, including establishing priorities and
work assignments+ Tracking compliance to policies and procedures
and resolving / escalating any compliance issue+ Facilitates
Configuration Management audits+ Reviews critical incident outage
resolution results and responses and dispositions of failed changes
due to CMS related issues+ Facilitates communication and engages
business and IT management to encourage configuration management
efforts and value proposition+ Engages with strategic projects to
ensure Configuration Management can deliver required CMS
functionality within project timeframes+ Reviews and approves all
changes to the CMS infrastructure where applicable+ Reviews and
approves significant IT infrastructure changes to ensure impacts to
configuration management data are properly addressed+ Mentors the
organization on Configuration Management services, concepts,
policies and procedures+ Chairs the Configuration Control Board
(CCB) and enacts changes as directed.+ Provides and approves all
requirements, use cases, user stories, etc. in support of new or
improving functionality of the CMS**Required Skills:**+ Strong
planning and organizational skills+ Strong oral and written
communication skills+ Ability to understand and translate technical
documents+ Ability to work collaboratively with others to achieve
goals+ Ability to be a persistent, creative problem -solver+
Familiar with Agile Methodology and practices**Required
Experience:**+ Bachelor's degree in computer science, information
technology, or a related technical field+ 3+ years professional
experience in configuration management+ Experience with
configuration management tools+ Experience managing complex IT
projects and configuration baselines+ Strong analytical skills+
Familiarity with Risk Management+ An active **Secret clearance** is
required**Preferred Experience:**The preferred candidate will have
a robust combination of the following:+ Master's degree in a
relevant field, especially computer science or similar+ Knowledge
of Air Force strategic policy, National Security Strategy, and
National Military Strategy+ Familiarity with flight simulation
environments+ Experience with hardware and software integration and
test within an MS&A environment+ Familiarity with GitLab+
Familiarity with the Air Force command structure+ Tactical aircraft
flight experience+ Experience applying Scientific Test & Analysis
Techniques to MS&A planning and execution+ Experience testing
autonomous systems+ Background or experience in computer
