Our mission is to develop the best products possible to enhance the safety of the global workforce.In this role, you will lead the supply chain execution of production planning, purchasing, inventory management and raw materials and finished goods for the Uniform division. Responsible for ensuring the company's financial and service goals and objectives are maintained. Requires evaluating, and documenting and maintaining of the company's supply chain processes and procedures to identify areas for effective and efficient operating results. -ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Reviews and analyzes the style/size matrix and sales history, forecast data and on-hand inventory to maintain proper finished goods inventory to meet customer expectations.
  • Reviews and analyzes piece goods as well as finished goods inventory to develop inventory budget and spending plan. Work with Finance team to Establish and maintain Company controls of inventory to achieve cash flow, inventory turn and profitability goals.
  • Maintain supplier set up and item set up within the item master files.
  • Reviews and analyzes actual sales vs projected sales and modifies production accordingly to optimize the investment in finished goods inventories. Creates and maintains manufacturing projections throughout the year.
  • Monitors and communicates to VP of Sourcing, Director Sourcing and Product Management on required production needs so that delivery and financial requirements and goals are met.
  • Supervises and evaluates performance of the team to uphold the Company's financial and service goals and objectives.
  • Modify the master production plan to reflect changes in customer demand and production capacity.
  • Develop new processes and review current processes that strive to gain efficiencies through systems and/or manual work.
  • Implements and reinforces operational policies and procedures to ensure that execution meets best practice standards while adhering to company's financial requirements.
  • Ensure maintenance of written documentation of processes are completed and maintained.
  • Chairs and documents ongoing production, supply chain meetings with members of the management team to ensure efficient collaboration and coordination between relevant departments to resolve issues.
  • Takes on new tasks and assignments as they are deemed to be necessary to the functioning of the position.
  • Play integral role in the implementation of Oracle, cross-departmental collaboration and development of systems formatting and processes.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
    • At least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain function in manufacturing environment - apparel industry a plus
    • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline required, or equivalent work experience. -
    • Experience and understanding of the Public safety consumer, the marketplace, and the competitive landscape preferred.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -
    • MS Word, Excel and Power Point proficiency, with good presentation abilities.
    • Experience with Oracle, AS400 or similar ERP system a plus
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly the ability to effectively research, develop and process quantitative and qualitative -market and business data.
    • Ability to maintain a keen attention to detail, multitask and work well under pressure.
    • Familiarity with forecasting production and systems used.
    • Natural tendency to be curious, positive and creative.PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
      • Highly flexible and able to react constructively and with a positive attitude to multiple demands, shifting priorities, change and unexpected events.
      • May be required at times to perform light lifting and carrying (30 lbs) and up to 8 hours a day on standing/walking/ driving.
      • Ability to travel by plane, car, train or other modes both domestically and internationally.BENEFITS:
