Job Description:
This position exists to support over 6,000 computers used by
faculty, staff and students at the Sinclair Community College (SCC)
Dayton campus and over 1000 computers at all off-campus locations
when the schedule permits. This includes installation, maintenance
and support of all hardware, software, and infrastructure necessary
for faculty, staff and students to complete their work.Why work for

keystones and RJ-45 connectorsSwitches/RouterWireless LAN and
Cellular HotspotsSoftware - install, configure, network,
troubleshoot, and maintains the following:Windows ImageWindows
Deployment ServicesOperating Systems - Windows and
AppleDepartmental and lab specific softwareUpdate existing software
and images as new versions, bug fixes, updates and service packs
become availableThis position takes care of all off campus
emergency ticketsRequirementsA minimum of an Associate's degree
with a Computer Science or Software Development focus, or related
field required, ORA minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
and three years' experience supporting a large, multi-user
environment requiredMust have and in-depth knowledge and
understanding or various operating systems, software and computer
hardwareMust have a valid driver's license and meet Sinclair
insurance requirementsMust have a good understanding of
electronics, basic networking and analytical troubleshootingThe
incumbent is responsible for resolving problems independently and
completing tasks assigned to themBatch, PowerShell and VB Script
knowledge preferredFull time technicians are responsible for the
training and work activities of student and part-time techniciansIn
the temporary absence of the Technical Services Coordinator, the
incumbent may be required to fill
