About this Position: -
The purpose of the SPPC Supply Operations Group is to ensure parts availability for our dealer body and customers. - The job is responsible for ensuring supplier relationships and communication are managed to ensure on-time delivery, minimal past due orders, accurate supplier shipping documents, and minimizing backorders, while maximizing service level. -
This activity includes coordinating the availability of service parts for all Campaign, Service, and Accessory related part issues (Recalls, PUD's, WE's, Service Bulletins, etc.). - The group is also responsible for implementing and coordinating lead-time initiatives with suppliers to meet AHM inventory goals and objectives.--- -
For Accessory parts the Supply Group is part of the Accessory Vehicle Development SED Teams (E) and are responsible for E-PL (Leading Mass Production Readiness) role and for achieving Accessory on-time sales for new model launches. -
All activities will be conducted in accordance with the Honda Philosophy.

Responsibilities include:

• - - - - - - Manage Supply associates to fulfil department's purpose and objectives.
  
• - - - - - - Manage supply of service accy/replacement parts including development and SED coordination for Accy
  
• - - - - - - Coordinate with suppliers to achieve on-time delivery and minimize backorders
  
• - - - - - - Coordinate new model preparation (Internal/suppliers/SED for Accy)
  
• - - - - - - Optimize Service Level to Customers
  
• - - - - - - Ensure Campaign Coordination
  
• - - - - - - Initiate and lead special projects as appropriate -
  
  Who we are seeking:
  Required Work Experience:
  
• - - - - - - 5 + years inventory experience or multiple other areas of supply chain
  
• - - - - - - Working understanding of forecasting
  
• - - - - - - Proven leadership experience
  
• - - - - - - Experience in international business beneficial
  -
  Required Education:
  
• - - - - - - Bachelor's degree, concentration in supply chain management ideal
  
• - - - - - - Equivalent work experience acceptable
  
• - - - - - - Supply chain affiliations a plus (i.e., APICS)
  Desired skills:
  
• - - - - - - Hands on data analysis helpful (Excel, Access, business objects)
