About the Role

As a Quality and Compliance Manager at CBRE, you will play a crucial role in crafting and implementing compliance programs tailored for acute care hospital environments. You will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance and control for a large regional acute care hospital client, contributing to the effective delivery of facilities managements services that help the client protect patient safety and achieve their strategic goals.

What You'll Do

Develop and put into place strong compliance programs tailored to acute care hospital environments, guaranteeing compliance with regulatory standards.

Support the Facilities Management team in preparing to respond to Joint Commission surveys through mock survey programs and subsequent follow up, ensuring the sites are fully prepared for accreditation assessments.

Assist the Facilities Management team during Authority Having Jurisdiction visits, providing compliance insights and support as needed.

Implement and coordinate Water Management Program measures to ensure compliance with safety standards and reduce risks associated with waterborne pathogens, especially Legionella.

Coordinate and manage daily activities related to quality assurance and compliance initiatives to ensure operational efficiency.

Facilitate compliance with both company and client programs while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Communicate key compliance initiatives and issues across functional areas and report status updates to partners regularly.

Supervise the success of quality-of-service initiatives for non-regulated services and share metrics during client review meetings.

Provide assistance during audits and lead by example in embodying CBRE's RISE values.

Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve day-to-day challenges and complex issues in existing processes.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Must have an appropriate license and/or certification where required by law.
  • Experience in crafting and implementing compliance programs in healthcare settings, particularly acute care hospitals, is strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and experience preparing for surveys is preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and balance problems.
  • Leadership skills to empower team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job field and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.
