Job Description:

Next locums has a position in Sioux Falls South Dakota for VA that is a Monday - Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM tour, which includes a one-half hour unpaid lunch each day. The facility will be closed on national holidays, and those will be unpaid days off for you. Also, there is no call requirement for this position, so you will have all evenings and weekends free. Please review the information below, which outlines the physician services: 4.4.2. Scope of Care: Contractor's physician(s) (as appropriate and within scope of practice/privileging) shall be responsible for providing NEUROLOGY care, including, but not limited to: 4.4.2.1. Clinical Care: Contractor physician(s) shall provide clinical NEUROLOGIST PHYSICIAN SERVICES. Contractor physician(s) shall be present on time for any scheduled clinic as documented by physical presence in the clinic at the scheduled start time. 4.4.2.1.1. Approximate case load is as follows: # of patients per clinic: 8-12 patients per day (estimated) 4.4.2.1.2. Clinic Services: Contractor physician(s) shall provide comprehensive clinical NEUROLOGIST PHYSICIAN SERVICES, including but not limited to the following: * Electroencephalography, both recording and interpretation * Perform and interpret electromyography and nerve conduction velocity studies * Perform Lumbar punctures * Intrathecal administration of medications * Prescribe/order medications in accordance with our formulary system * Provide Telemedicine cervices * Complete exams for compensation and pension/disability purposes * Botox Injections * Trigger point injections * Code Stroke Coverage 4.4.2.2. Medications: Contractor physician(s) shall follow all established medication policies and procedures. No sample medications shall be provided. 4.4.3. ADMINISTRATIVE: estimated 10% of time not involved in direct patient care for meetings, administrative tasks, etc. If you are interested I will need an updated copy of your CV along with my Physician Engagement form and your BLS and 3 professional references, the pay is $160.00 with all travel provided & malpractice is covered.
