Pediatric Associates of Dayton, Inc. is a division of CareCloud Practice Management a subsidiary of CareCloud Inc.Job Summary:We are looking for a friendly, experienced medical office licensed RN or LPN & Certified MA. The Floor Nurse/MA position is responsible for providing quality care to our pediatric patients. Duties include rooming and evaluating patients, taking history, and performing evaluations such as temperature, height, weight, head circumference, blood pressure, and pulse. Responsible for medical chart documentation, maintaining medical supplies, stocking rooms, and using sterilization equipment. Floor Nurse with possible Telephone Triage rotation.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Must possess a solid understanding of pediatric disease processes and knowledge of normal pediatric growth and developmentStrong listening and verbal communication skills are mandatoryMust have sound medical decision-making skillsMust be punctual, dependable, flexible, and a good role modelMust be able to work independently in a very fast-paced environmentMust be able to work well under pressure while maintaining quality care and efficient patient flowExcellent communication and problem-solving skills are necessaryRequired Qualifications/Skills:Giving immunizations, flu vaccines, and antibiotic injectionsVenipunctureSplintingO2 saturationBladder catheterizationDeep nasal suctioningEar irrigationBecause we are a pediatric office, to be considered for this position you must be competent and very comfortable giving immunizations and other injections to infants and children on a daily basis.Education & Experience Requirements:Must possess a current Ohio nursing license (RN or LPN) or MA CertificationPediatric medical office or hospital experience 2+ years preferredTelephone triage experience is a plusMust have a current CPR certificationBasic computer skillsOther Considerations:Requires extensive standing, bending, and liftingThe ability to work under stress is required.Hours & Work Schedule:Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pmSaturday 8:00am - 12:00pm (Saturday rotation is required)Work Schedule FlexibiltySupervisory Responsibility: NoWork Location: Beavercreek, OHTravel Required: Applicant must be willing to travel to all Pediatric Associates of Dayton, Inc. offices when needed for coverage.
