Are you comfortable with a non-routine, varied schedule with numerous clients each week? Do you enjoy teaching others how to provide outstanding care? Touching Hearts at Home is offering an opportunity to be a key part of our support -team as a Lead Caregiver. The Lead Caregiver provides crucial support to ensure our clients have the care they need if their regularly scheduled caregiver is sick or unavailable, and also ensures -new clients are able to get care started without delay. In addition to providing care to clients, the Lead Caregiver assists with on-the-job training and peer mentoring and development of new members of our care team.
The Lead Caregiver must be available for assignments any time within a 13 hour shift, either days or nights, and must be available to work every other weekend with two days off every week. Travel up to 45 minutes from our office in Kettering is required, so a valid driver's license, vehicle, and car insurance is a must.
Lead Caregivers are guaranteed pay for 40 hours per week minimum even if they are not placed in assignments for 40 hours. Lead Caregivers receive premium pay in a range from $16/hr up to $19/hr, plus $3/hr additional on weekends.
