Facility & Opportunity: The Neuroscience Institute, affiliated with the local University's School of Medicine, is seeking a BE/BC Stroke Neurologist or NeuroHospitalist with acute stroke training to supplement the existing stroke group. Position will be primarily Stroke Centered with Outpatient Stroke Clinic Established. Schedule will be 7on/7off. JHCO certified Comprehensive Stroke Team provides 24/7 emergency stroke coverage There is a 4 bed EMU within our 20 bed Neurocritical care unit. 3T MRI on site. The Neuroscience Institute has multiple Outpatient clinical sites with a very large Epilepsy population in the community. A Neurology trained group APNs and our own Neurology Residency program provides support 24/7. Stroke and Neurocritical care Call Coverage is separate from General Neurology Care. Academic appointment with Neurology Residency program and Research & Clinical Trials are available but NOT required of candidates. Academic appointment available with Neurology Residency program and Research with NIH funded research trials, however, it is NOT required. Additional program building and leadership opportunities available. EMR is Epic System. Compensation: Very competitive salary with quality bonuses to be discussed directly with qualified candidates.
