Position SummarySinclair Community College has an enrollment of approximately 23,000 students. Sinclair is currently seeking individuals interested in a full-time, Annually Contracted Faculty (ACF) teaching position at the Dayton campus.This position has an anticipated start date of August 2023.Principal AccountabilitiesPlan and organize instruction in ways which maximize student learningMeet scheduled classes in accordance with College policyEmploy appropriate teaching and learning strategies to promote student successModify, where appropriate, instructional methods and strategies to meet diverse student's needsEmploy available instructional technology when appropriateEvaluate and return student work in a timely manner to promote learningMaintain accurate records of student progressExercise stewardship of College facilities and materialsAttend departmental, divisional and College meetings and events as feasibleCollaborate with other disciplines and participate in Inter Professional EducationMaintain familiarity with College goals, mission and long-range plansConduct acute and critical care clinical instruction at local hospitalsRequirementsRegistered Respiratory Therapist (current RRT credential) with a current license to practice in the State of Ohio requiredMinimum of Associate's degree in a related field required; Bachelor's degree preferredA minimum of 2 years of critical care clinical education experience requiredACCS (Adult Critical Care Specialist) credential requiredTeaching experience in an accredited Respiratory Care program preferredACLS, PALS and NRP provider and/or instructor preferredPDN-992339c1-dd2a-4dc5-8590-2d704846b7a8
