Weekly Pay Range - $2759 To $3065 Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: PCU/Oncology Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Must have oncology experience. Sickle cell experience and chemotherapy certification are strongly preferred. ICU experience does not count towards SD/PCU experience for consideration. License: Any state RN license is acceptable; compact license now accepted. Certifications: BLS & ACLS; Must be able to read and interpret strips. ONS Certification preferred. Must-Have: - Experience with a 1:5 nurse-patient ratio in Stepdown or Progressive Care Units (SD/PCU) is required. - EPIC experience. - Must pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. - Must be fitted for N95 unless PAPR is offered/needed. - Travel experience is preferred. - Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Job Description: - Work on a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit specializing in oncology and hematology patients. - Handle mixed acuity, seeing both Med Surg and Advanced Care patients. - Administer chemotherapy for patients with ONS Certification. - Responsibilities include managing blood products, drips, PCAs, and wounds. - Float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units as needed and provide support to the nursing care team. - Be the first to float at discretion. - Potential to float to other campuses less than 15 miles from the main campus. - Wear navy blue scrubs. - Complete lab work and EKG/Dysrhythmia exam within 72 hours of signing the contract. - Flu Vaccine required; Medical/Religious Exemptions Only. - Managers will review applications; all schedule requests need to be clearly stated on the application. - No more than 14 days of requested time off allowed. - Travelers are not eligible for employee incentives. This position requires a dedicated and adaptable RN who is ready to provide high-quality care in a dynamic and specialized oncology setting.
