He or she must possess the ability to perform radiographic work on several different types of radiographic equipment so that all work is completed in a competent, timely and efficient manner. He or she will assist with patient care and safety while the patient is in the Cardiac Cath or EP lab environment.This is highly stressful, very busy patient care area. Exposure to x-ray and blood borne pathogens may occur during cardiac catheterization procedures. Long periods of standing are required with the use of lead aprons.Long periods of standing are required with the use of lead aprons.The Angiography Technician will be responsible for rotating call for emergency procedures with a 30 minute response time if employed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.Job RequirementsGraduation from an accredited Radiology ProgramCurrent certification with ARRT in diagnostic radiologyPossesses a current license as a State of Ohio RadiologyBLS certificationACLS certification required within six months of hirePreferred Qualifications:1 year recent hospital angiographic interventional experienceCath Lab experience preferredLive within 30 minutes for call requirementKeywords: Interventional Rad Tech, Interventional Radiology Technologist, Angio Tech, Special Procedures Technologist, Cath Lab Tech, Angiography Technologist, Rad Tech#PM21
