Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Antepartum Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Valid compact or state license required Certifications: ACLS BLS NRP Fetal Monitoring Must-Have: Epic experience required Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation Description: This is a night shift position requiring three 12-hour shifts. Every other weekend and holiday rotation as needed. First-time travelers are welcome. Staff-to-patient ratio is 1:3. Patient diagnoses include antepartum and postpartum with telemetry or continuous pulse oximetry. Experience with postpartum magnesium and intrauterine fetal demise (IUFD) is necessary. All employees must have the flu vaccine, with medical exemptions only. It is imperative that candidates are informed about the urgency of the fingerprinting process. Candidates must complete fingerprinting as soon as they sign the contract. Those who are not responsive or cooperative with credentialing may risk cancellation. Reference requirements include two professional references, one of which must be from a manager or supervisor. Former employees may be eligible for a travel assignment after being away for six months. Current employees are not eligible for traveler positions.
