TravelNurseSource is working with Accede Solutions Inc to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43085! About The Position Registered Nurse/Telemetry: Duration:13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00) Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) Description: The Telemetry RN monitors patients with cardiac and other critical conditions using specialized equipment to track vital signs and heart rhythms. Responsibilities include assessing patient status, administering medications, and responding to changes in cardiac rhythms. The RN collaborates with the healthcare team to provide continuous, high-quality care. Strong attention to detail and clinical judgment are crucial in this role. If you accept a 12D/N rotating contract, you may be scheduled for days, nights, or a combination of both, depending on the department’s needs. Shift assignments are reviewed every 4-week scheduling period, but changes are not guaranteed and are based on staffing priorities at that time. ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED! The majority of patients served are admitted with the following patient care needs: • Continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration • Soft tissue malignancy receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy and symptom management. • Symptom management secondary to disease related treatment or progression. -Management of comorbidities. -Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls Special Equipment: B450 monitors Client telemetry system Bladder Scanner Alaris pumps Stryker beds Requirements: • Minimum 2 Years RN experience required • Certs: BCLS • Ratio: 1:4 • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity. • PREVIOUS TRAVEL EXPERIENCE PREFERRED! • EPIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Skill Required: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Accessing Ports - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - IV START - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - high Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC - interpretation of ABGs About Accede: Accede Solutions is a Nationally Certified Search firm providing services in multiple sectors.
