Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit Location: Dayton, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,033 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/19/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVICU Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 1 Year CVICU experience required License: Must obtain required license before contract begins Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Pass an online EKG tele competency assessment before starting the assignment. Experience with arterial lines, ventilators, drips, sheaths, dialysis, and drawing arterial blood gases. EPIC experience required. Must work every other holiday. Targeted patient ratios are 1:2. Description: This position does not require a license in hand to apply. First-time travelers are welcome. Floating to other units may be required based on staffing needs. Must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Travelers will be the first to float at management's discretion. You will be assigned a medically appropriate assignment or provide support to the nursing care team. Typically, the unit runs a 1:2 patient ratio with a 36-bed capacity. Staffing will include interdisciplinary support teams such as IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Common patient diagnoses include heart failure, respiratory failure, and cardiac arrest among others. Special procedures include open-heart recovery, post-operative care, and continuous renal replacement therapy among others. No more than 14 days of requested time off are allowed during the contract period. Lab work and EKG/dysrhythmia exams must be completed within a specified timeframe after signing the contract.
