Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position with night shifts and BLS certification in Indiana. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work on a combined 16-bed Med/Surg and 16-bed Ortho unit in a hospital setting - Patients on both Med/Surg and Ortho units, with floating between the two units required - Max RN to patient ratio of 1:5 - One PCT scheduled on both Med/Surg and Ortho units depending on census - Uses Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM); prior SCM experience is a plus - Night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:30 - Weekend rotation required every three weeks - Holiday coverage is required - Provide direct nursing care and implement patient care plans according to organizational protocols - Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions and coordinate care among multiple disciplines - Participate in discharge planning with healthcare team members - Royal blue scrubs required - All positions are auto-offer - Local candidates are accepted at a reduced rate according to facility radius rules /n /n Requirements/n - Active IN or Compact RN license required - Current AHA BLS certification required - Minimum one year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience - Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start - Primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start - Must have a US Social Security Number and a US home address /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-628317.
