As a Certified Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and efficiency of operations in a supportive and faith-centered environment. Prepare and organize the operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies as required for various surgical procedures. Assist surgical team in putting on gloves, gowns, and other sterile attire during operations. Provide technical assistance to surgeons, surgical nurses, or anesthesiologists. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures. Maintain a sterile environment to ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety requirements. Assist in counting sponges, needles, and instruments before and after operation. Prepare specimens for laboratory analysis. Clean and restock the operating room following surgery, preparing it for the next procedure. Strong knowledge of sterilization techniques Understanding of surgical tools and equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to anticipate surgical team needs effectively Capability to stand for long periods and handle physical demands of the operating room Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Valid CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
