Job Description Job Description Gastroenterology - Physician Opportunity We are seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Gastroenterologist to become part of a well-regarded team delivering both inpatient and outpatient services. This role is based in Lafayette, Indiana, and involves performing procedures such as ERCP, colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, as well as conducting office visits and participating in hospital call rotations. This position offers a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Position Details: The Gastroenterology team comprises four physicians and two nurse practitioners. Work responsibilities are divided between inpatient and outpatient care, with a ratio of 20% inpatient to 80% outpatient. Surgical procedures are performed at the Outpatient Surgery Center and the Hospital. Key procedures include ERCP, colonoscopy, EGD, EUS, and office consultations. Hospital call schedule involves being on call for seven days, rotating every eight weeks from Monday to Sunday.
