Ohio, 43210! Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio
Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
Weekend Nights (Friday/Saturday) plus one weekday shift | 3x12s |
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (36 hours/week) Highlights: Float across multiple
ICU settings including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs,
CVICU, and more based on acuity and staffing needs Work with
diverse patient populations including transplant patients (kidney,
liver, lung, heart) and complex critical care cases EPIC charting
system utilized across all units 2:1 patient ratios maintained for
safe, quality care Comprehensive interdisciplinary support
including PT, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy,
and more 36-hour orientation provided to support your success
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (NIHSS is a hard
requirement) Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
Competency in IV starts, telemetry interpretation and management,
and ventilator management Previous travel nursing experience
strongly preferred Valid Ohio RN license or compact license in hand
at time of application Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE
accredited program Two professional references required (at least
one must be from a manager/director or formal leadership role) Flu
vaccine required (medical exemptions only) Willingness to float to
units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed Why It's a Great
