Job Description Job Description Critical Care - Intensivist - Physician Opportunity We are looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Critical Care Physician to become a part of our night ICU team at an academic health facility located in Indianapolis. This role entails overseeing inpatient critical care admissions, executing procedures, and providing education to residents and advanced practice providers. Additionally, the position offers avenues for leadership, professional development, and includes an academic affiliation with the IU School of Medicine. Our organization is in search of a Critical Care Physician to join the night ICU team at our academic health center in Indianapolis, IN. Position Overview Collaborative team consisting of physicians and advanced practice providers Work schedule: 7 days on, 14 days off or approximately 120 shifts annually, designed to promote work-life balance Focus on inpatient care exclusively Practice setting: Academic Health Center Opportunities for teaching, leadership roles, and professional advancement Engage directly with advanced practice providers and residents in a team-oriented care model Academic appointment available at the IU School of Medicine New state-of-the-art facility currently under construction Exceptional nursing staff and ancillary care providers Primary Responsibilities Oversee admissions and consultations within a multi-specialty critical care unit Conduct and supervise standard critical care procedures Engage in the education of residents and advanced practice providers Qualifications Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care H1B Visa sponsorship is available About Indianapolis, Indiana Indianapolis, the 17th largest city in the United States, is a vibrant metropolis that combines charm and culture with a perfect mix of business and leisure.
