Minimum 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications:
BLS and NRP required; ACLS preferred Must-Have: BLS, ACLS, NRP,
Client Fetal Monitoring, NRP Advanced Description: Provide direct
nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures,
and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implement and monitor
patient care plans. Monitor, record, and communicate patient
condition as appropriate. Serve as a primary coordinator of all
disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Note and carry out
physician and nursing orders. Assess and coordinate patient's
discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Department includes Level III with 8 Labor and Delivery Rooms, 3
triage rooms, 2 OR suites, and 4 ATP rooms with approximately 200
deliveries per month. Schedule is full-time, 36 hours per week;
7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; rotating holidays and every third weekend.
