We are seeking a Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical
specialty. The position requires flexibility with weekend
requirements based on unit needs. Travelers must be able to work
50% of the weekends in their contract. Refusal to float may result
in termination of the contract. Travel nurses may be assigned
students to shadow them during their assignment. Candidates must
have an active nursing license in hand or have submitted their
application for it. Candidates should be willing to take charge or
be open to training for the charge role. First-time travelers are
accepted. If a traveler calls in for a contracted shift, they are
expected to make up the day in the pay period. Pending operational
needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed, with
training provided. Travelers may be expected to float to different
levels of care, with resources offered as needed. Float
requirements are 100% for all travelers. Candidates are asked to
work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Candidates must agree to train for
the charge role. Travelers must meet specific certification
requirements based on unit details. Candidates must be agreeable to
floating within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities. All
submissions must adhere to compliance policies and procedures. 5
