Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,179 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Weekend nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week Highlights: Float to multiple critical care units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, CVICU, and specialty cardiac/diagnostics units Work with a high-acuity patient population in a large academic medical center with 900 daily census Utilize EPIC charting system with interdisciplinary support from PT, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams 2:1 patient ratios across all shifts with 36 hours of comprehensive orientation Exposure to complex procedures including transplants (kidney, liver, lung, heart), EVDs, ICP monitoring, and advanced cardiac interventions Weekend schedule with every-other-weekend minimum requirement Requirements: Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission) Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required Proficiency with EPIC EMR system required Demonstrated competency in IV starts, telemetry interpretation and management, and ventilator management Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not required Ability to float to units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed Two professional references required, including at least one from a manager or director Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers experienced critical care nurses the chance to expand their clinical expertise across multiple ICU specialties while working in a fast-paced academic environment.
