Job Description Job Description Overview Shriners Children’s Ohio has an opportunity for a full-time Pediatric RN to join our Inpatient Unit . In this unique role, you’ll provide compassionate, family-centered care to children requiring Med-Surg and ICU-level nursing—including those recovering from burns and complex craniofacial conditions. Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation What We’re Looking For: Ohio RN license Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, ideally in pediatric, stepdown, or ICU/Med-Surg settings Passion for caring for children and their families Make a difference every day —join a team dedicated to improving children’s lives through advanced, compassionate care. Responsibilities The Inpatient RN is responsible for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care in a collaborative, family-centered environment. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. This position will provide leadership by acting as an informal and formal leader, preceptor and through quality improvement efforts. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required: BSN degree or in process Ohio RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Preferred: 2 years bedside RN experience (will consider new grads) Pediatric and ICU experience Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
