Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,197 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Opportunity – Oncology PCU Registered Nurse – Ohio Start Date: March 23, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift (Day/Night rotating shift available), 13-16 week contract Highlights: Work in a comprehensive cancer center with 318 acute care beds specializing in oncology care Progressive Care Unit (PCU) staffing ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 with mixed acuity; Med/Surg Telemetry 1:4 to 1:5 Epic EMR system with extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy Floating opportunities across specialized oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, and Surgical Oncology Self-scheduling with flexible weekend coverage based on unit needs Comprehensive orientation program including one week of dayshift orientation followed by bedside training Requirements: Minimum 2 years of high acuity PCU level or higher experience required within the last 3 years At least 1 year of current specialty experience for clinical pass Oncology experience preferred but not required Previous travel nursing experience required Valid Compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Preferred Certifications: OCN, ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Required Skills: IV insulin protocols, insulin drip titration, port access and management, arterial line management, chemotherapy administration and monitoring, wound care/wound vac, blood product administration, central line and PICC line management, cardiac drip titration, chest tube management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, and tracheostomy care Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only) 2 professional references required: at least one from a manager/director or formal leadership role Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a dedicated team at a leading comprehensive cancer center where you'll make a meaningful impact on patients facing complex oncology diagnoses.
