Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,269 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/23/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med Surg/Telemetry Float Duration: 13-16 week contract Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of high acuity Med Surg Tele level or higher required License: Valid nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, Oncology certification preferred but not required Must-Have: - Experience in oncology preferred but not required - Ability to float to various Med Surg and PCU Oncology units - Strong focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls Description: Comprehensive Cancer Center with 318 acute care beds. All inpatient units consist of 36 specialized beds by cancer diagnosis. Floating to Med Surg Oncology units including BMT, Acute Leukemia, Hematology, Medical Oncology, Gynecological Oncology, Urology, and Colorectal Surgical Oncology. Staffing ratios for PCU are 1:3 but can be 1:4 with mixed acuity. Med/Surg Tele ratios are ideally 1:4 but can be 1:5. Variable weekends based on unit needs. No set or blocked scheduling is offered for permanent staff. Self-scheduling requests are encouraged to accommodate preferences. Orientation consists of bedside training during the first weeks. Interdisciplinary support is provided by various teams. Special equipment includes telemetry monitoring systems, Alaris pumps, and Stryker beds.
